COVID -19 SAFETY

Our office hopes you and your family are in good health. As we enter the re-emergence phase of this crises, I am writing to let you know of the changes in our workflow and infection control protocol we have implemented for when our office opens on June 1st, 2020.

Our goal is to exceed the standards suggested by the CDC and other governmental agencies by providing the safest environment for our patients, staff, and families.

Our COVID -19 Response:

Office Changes

You will notice some changes in our office

  • Special extra-oral suction devices in all treatment areas to reduce aerosols

  • Heightened infection control including advanced disinfection of operatories as well as entire office

  • Hospital Grade HEPA filtration system for the whole office

  • Plexiglass barriers for the business office

  • A reduction in touchpoints

  • Paperless communications

  • Universal precautions with disposable N-95 masks, gowns, face shields, head and shoe covers

  • Staggered appointment times to minimize contact with other patients

To ensure patients arriving are healthy, the office will confirm your appointment via phone call or text and review your current health. Once you arrive for your visit, you will be asked these questions again, to make sure nothing has changed since your confirmation call.

We ask you not to bring anyone to your appointment unless absolutely necessary. If you require an escort, please have them drop you off and we will contact them when your appointment is complete.

  • When you arrive at our office, if there are no cars in the parking lot, you may enter the office. If cars are present, please call or text us so we know you have arrived and please wait in your car. We will let you know when it is safe to enter the office.  This will limit the number of people in the office at any given time and keep up with social distancing mandates.

  • Be sure to wear a mask to your appointment. If you do not have one, we will provide one.

  • Use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering office.

  • One of our staff members will escort you to the treatment room.

  • You will be asked to update patient information.

  • You will have your temperature and pulse ox taken.

  • A pre-procedural rinse will be given prior to starting any procedure.
